Job Title: DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Salary Range: $58,200 - $87,300 Annually

Under general supervision, provides leadership and guidance necessary to develop and maintain highly efficient and effective business management systems and related processes, manages various SQL database systems required to deploy new database servers and maintain existing capabilities. Provide proactive leadership and guidance necessary to develop and maintain highly efficient and effective business management systems and related processes. Managing various SQL database systems required to deploy new database servers and maintain existing capabilities. Providing assistance to programmers in creating data reports using Crystal Report and other report writers. Providing basic database maintenance activities such as backups, restores, data import/export, etc. Providing support in SQL queries, database migrations, replications, DTS packaging, etc. Providing SQL database administrative duties such as managing and maintaining users, ensuring the performance optimization, performing version upgrades and service pack installation, etc. Demonstrate full life-cycle project management methodologies to the implementation, upgrade and ongoing support of Microsoft Dynamics GP or other mid-market systems. Performs related duties as assigned. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains 9.0 Experience with Crystal Reports, FRx Reporter, and Business Portal. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) with recent experience developing, implementing and supporting basic database maintenance activities such as maintenance plans, backups, restores, data import/export, performance optimization, version upgrades, service pack installation, etc. Knowledge of relational database concepts and experience utilizing MSSQL view designer, query analyzer, and Transact SQL to provide database administration support and custom reporting. Demonstration ability to analyze design, and develop integrations using Integration Manager or eConnect. Proven ability to apply knowledge into configured business applications. Must be a positive self-starter with strong commitment to excellence. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong situational fluency with the ability to manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities. Experience working in a consultative environment with strong communication skills at all levels. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Accounting or a related fields with emphasis on Information Systems4 years SQL database administration experience; 2 years experience in accounting responsible for or familiar with all accounting functions; Microsoft SQL certification is required; other Microsoft Certifications or Certification in Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
